ROW-VR

The AIM ROW-VR is a self-propelled, three wheeled vehicle designed to install 3-inch lateral into the field. The machine is designed to run semi-autonomously with the use of GPS systems, a remote control, and a camera vision system to replace the driver and large tractor from the pipe installation procedure. The two drive wheels are aligned to be in the same furrow as the pipe being installed. The ROW-VR has an adjustable idler wheel to accommodate different row spacings from 20 – 84 inches. The front steering wheel rotates 90 degrees in each direction to allow for a very tight turn radius. A custom designed hitch allows for easy hook-up and release of the 3-inch sprinkler line. The AIM ROW-VR is a simple solution to reduce the labor and equipment costs associated with sprinkler pipe installation.
